Your account and your data
Chisato asks for as little as possible, and only uses it to make the app work.
Why you sign in
You can sign in with Apple or with Google. Your account exists so your anime list, scores and preferences are saved and stay in sync across your devices. You can optionally link your MyAnimeList account to sync your list with it.
What Google sign-in shares
If you choose “Sign in with Google”, Chisato requests only the basic openid and email scopes. It receives your email address and a Google account identifier, used solely to create and sign you in to your Chisato account. Chisato never accesses your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.
No selling, no ad tracking
Chisato shows no ads. Your data is never sold and is not used for advertising. It is only used to provide and improve the app.
You stay in control
You can delete your account and its data at any time from Settings inside the app, or by emailing support@chisato.io.

Chisato is free to download on the App Store. An optional premium subscription unlocks extra features and supports development.
Does it show sub and dub release times?
Yes. The schedule and every anime page show separate release times and countdowns for the Japanese broadcast, the subtitled release and the dubbed release.
Does Chisato have Home Screen widgets?
Yes. Widgets show next-episode countdowns, your progress on a show and today's airing schedule, in several sizes and in light or dark mode.
